Hi the ecu on my 93 wrx salloon is dead and i've been offered a chipped v9 ecu from a wagon to replace it? Will this work on my car ok as the wagon runs a td04 turbo etc and mine runs a td05 turbo? The person offering me the ecu and chip said it won't make any difference as the chip takes replaces the original map but i always thought that for a td04 turbo ecu it uses a different chip anyway?

The chip by the way is a scoobypro chip
