Finally pulled my finger out, My cars in the garage getting a whole host of new toys
How do guys, I've been saying it for the pasted few months now, but I finally got around to taking my car to Special Scoobies for a whole host of new toys.
I've got a Classic Import WRX that with a decat downpipe back exhaust and green stuff filter saw 269 bhp.
Its getting treated to a Decatt bell mouth hayward and scott down pipe, a set of scooby sport equally lenght headers, a FMIC, a set of Apexi 550cc injectors along with a walbro 255 fuel pump, full braided stainless steel fuel lines and a SX FPR. A full set of Samco hoses plus a Apexi power intake, Apexi power FC and commander and a Apexi AVC-R. A light weight crank pulley and thats the lot.
What do we recon the BHP will be now? Its going to engine advantages in Witham on Wednesday to get all set up and mapped. I'm hoping for 330bhp.

Well all the goodies are on after a few little hic cups, missed my Engine advatage slot so I've got to wait until the 24th to get the mapping done.
What a bummer, the cars just sitting on the drive doing nothing.

It sounds wikked mate, if you need any advice on getting your car to go even faster then giz a shout as my mate Baz probably knows more than anyone on here about performance cars.
He has just fitted a dump valve on mine and its wikked and you can really notice the difference, he is whacking out the CAT from my exhaust at the weekend so the gases can flow better and give me more tork.

@ 1.1bar it's producing 326bhp and 286lbft.
I'd of liked a little more, but I wanted low boost to help longivity of the engine and turbo, until I can save up enough pennies for that eventally engine rebuild.
I recon if I increase the boost to around 1.3bar that would still be safe and produce maybe around the 340-50bhp mark?? Must resist, Must resist!!
For now 326bhp is enough for me.

With all the fitting and mapping taken in to account aswell it comes in near enought £2k.
I know its alot, but I have over engineered it, in preparation for future mods. The FMIC, headers, AVC-R and a few other bits aren't really needed and would have saved me a £550-£600.

To be safe you'll need a uprated FPR too, walbro 255 can over whelm the stardard ones.
Stardard injectors are ok up to around 300 any more and you'll need 440 or 550 dependant on what your future plans are.
