Default Reversing brake clunk

i have an MY05 WRX PPP and previously had and MY95 WRX jap import and they both have the same thing in common that when reversing and i brake the brakes make a sort of clunking noise?

sounds like the brake pads moving in the calipers. Nothing to worry about if it is.

exactly what i've been told. Apparently you can fit some sort of spacer to prevent them from moving back and forth.

My AP's do it, as did the oem 4 ots before.

Doesn't effect performance in any way, trust me..

Ditto, I've also heard the same thing about spacers to stop it, but it has never bothered me so I haven't

Does it on mine also. Just the pads hitting the stops on the caliper. its the design of the brakes/pads that allow them to slide slightly.
