Cone filter or standard airbox?
Hi all, the car is a 99 v plate uk turbo with ppp, its also got a stainless exhaust from the front cat back, intercooler waterspray etc, would i benefit from an induction kit and if so which one and how do you get the cold air feed to it? thanks in advance. lee.

99/00 cars suffer from mass air flow problems when certain induction kits are fitted,esp those with oiled cone filters,vibration hurts them too....... the standard airbox in not restrictive up to 350 bhp so if your aiming for under that figure id keep the standard air box and fit a better panel filter,green simota etc......

As above really not worth the trouble the oe set up is good enough for 350 + , just add a green pannel filter or similar.

Thx for your help guys. As i use the car for work etc i will be keeping it under the 350bhp mark so i will be keeping the standard airbox and will find a panel filter for it. thanks again. lee
