Default The perfect replacement for standard speakers

I've had enough of my blown speakers so I went looking for a set of speakers, everyone I spoke to told me I'd never find a set of direct replacement speakers for the scoob... but check these out!

Fusion FSC-6E's (originals on the right)

£30 a pair, which includes tweeters too..

They go straight in, no messing around! I even soldered on the fly leads from the originals for that extra perfect fit

The fronts were not so bad so I've moved them to the rears but for all the hassle it was to replace them I wish I had bought two sets now lol!

Hope this helps someone!

Are you still using the standard head unit?

How much of an improvement is there?

I've got an old Sony + changer.. the difference in quality is phenominal but the originals were pretty duff, the rears were totally blown and the fronts sounded dire if it was turned up more than speaking volume.. Its got a decent sound stage now..

Good stuff!
Is there any point changing the speakers if the head unit is the standard one? I swapped the head unit in my old car but sold it because I don't fancy having a blanking plate fitted.

The standard speakers are regular paper speakers and tend to get damn which over time makes them sound rubbish..

Just thought; even Mr Lewis might consider fitting these, but I'm not sure how long it would take him to notice his speakers are knackered listening to Radio 4...

Where did you buy them from for £30 a pair? Halfords want £60 a pair.

yeah, im interested now too.

paid a few quid for some really good alpine mids on my parcel shelf as i wasnt really interested in 6x9's. sound excellent, but the fronts are duff standard i think. but as my cars a 99 classic, it has the tweeters too, and im not an electrical minded person.

Hey, I've got one of those...

1995 vintage radio/cassette, with a 10x changer.

It's in a plastic bag at the bottom of the wardrobe 'cos it wouldn't allow me to connect my M-station (also in a plastic bag in the bottom of the wardrobe ). Really must complete that project this winter....
