Default Advice on a price for a Jap STI (R-Plate)

Car:

-1997 silver WRX STI import
-44k miles
-2 owners
-All MOT's and history
-Meerkat cat-back exhaust (£470)
-Dump valve

The car's body is pretty clean but 17'' gold speedline alloys could do with a refurb. Also cam belt needing done.

The seller is looking for £5500

Sorry no pics.

Any advice?????? Is this a fair price???????

Sounds good to me mate Especially with such low milage & full history.
If u need re-assuring why not compare it to similar cars on pistonheads.com or autotrader etc........

Has it been imported from new, otherwise the full history bit is suspect as most older greys coming in come with none - it would be worth checking thats true.

It was imported in 2003. Full history from then.

HPI check showed no problems since.

£3300 is seriously cheap. I paid a lot more than that for my MY97 STI v3, in months of looking I never saw one for that price.
