Off to London on the 7th July for the Tour De France.

Travelling down (car) from Leeds and looking for somewhere to stay outside London which has good access into the City (train/bus) and a a few bars. Ideally Northern side of London nearish the M1 & within 30-60 minutes travel.

Any suggestions?

Could be somewhere small providing there is a decent hotel, a few bars and somewhere to eat.

2 minutes walk from belsize tube (northern line) and it has a carpark.

Brent cross...right at the end of the M1 and theres a Travel Inn with parking i think. Tube line not too far away.

last time i went to london i stayed in the Marriot west india keys in canary wharf, really easy to get to and to get to every where else and its a cracking hotel i would definately stay there again next time i visit
