Welcome

When you say wrx are you referring to a newer car or a classic? the reason I ask is because if it's a classic you might find insurance cheaper on a uk car, if it's a bugeye/blobeye ignore me

You'd probably be better with a UK car for insurance then. UK cars are cheaper than imports but they do have less equipment and power but that's easily fixed.

Getting parts for imports generally isn't a problem, it's just the insurance that might be better for you UK cars are mapped for UK fuel too which is a bonus.
