i have decat downpipe, unresonated centre section and currently a scoobysport backbox but have just bought a second hand earlier h&s backbox which i believe is slighly louder than the scoobysport (janspeed) one. what noise level can i expect? i know of somebody who had this setup and said he had to get a resonated centre section as it was too loud??

gotta full H & S De-Cat on our MY99 with a Ninja BackBox - running at 98db

Got a H+S complete system, measured 98 at Cadwell Static, 100 at Donny drive by, but i know standard cars that get black flagged there

my old one was ridiculously loud - too loud.

got a straight through pipe from the turbo down with a 4" h&s backbox, and yes it rather loud mate, quitens down a bit on the motorway though at 80mph +

meant to say its the original style backbox not the jap style. is it still loud?

Pretty loud, not too bad on tick over and normal driving, put your foot down and its a bit deeper/louder.

Its Ok if you're running with your seats it, if not its loud on motorways and fast running.
