Default pump for washwipe? tips...

My washerwipe pump/motor seems to have packed in, its stil live so im assuming the fuse is still good, don't think the wipers would work if not, think im gonna take it out and clean it up as the guy I bought the car off had it stood for a month or two before I bought it.

If its fvcked, anyone know how much a replacement will be, obviously its going to fail the MOT without it

And yes I did check the reservoir wasn't empty....lol

Cleran it out well, look for blockages in it, the inlet, the reservoir, the pipework. Some folk put any old crap into the reservoir for screenwash, and some of it makes the pipework prone to a sort of gunge with the consistency of snot. It bungs stuff up a treat.

If it's not turning once cleaned, (and if it IS, DO NOT run it for long without water!!!), try breakers like Grade A at Hayfield in the High Peak.

If its not making a noise when using it, then its probably had it. Halfords do a few different replacement pumps if your stuck.

Get it out of the reservoir, backflush with hot water, then try it BRIEFLY away from the reservoir.

If it is fekked: Map of SK22 2EU United Kingdom | Multimap.com=

Driving along the New Mills Road towards New Mills, the turn off is down a steep narrow road, on your right and the sign for Grade A faces AWAY from you if you are going towards New Mills.

Forgot to say: look out for their guard dog, Petter, she is incredible!

Never seen my Subaru pump, but they have a few types. So if you are taking it off anyway, you should be able to find a match in Halfords.
