Default Blitz bov

I have a blitz bov (i like it so please dont give me the idle ect chat) and was just wondering what the other fitting dose it is shaped like a mini k&n?

Dose it make a different sound or something also what is the little bolt on the front for it has a small nut on it can i turn it to get a different sound also?

The little K&N type thing alters the sound.

The little allen screw and nut allows you to alter the tension of the BOV piston spring.

When you 1st fit it you may need to alter the tension so the piston does'nt open at idle and cause the car to stall etc (usually when pulling up at junctions).

Thanks what sound will it make if the k&n style one is on dont want to waste time putting it on if it dosent sound as good.

I'm not sure to be honest as I never bothered as I did'nt have that attachment on my last Impreza.

I would of thought it would be quieter due to the filter but give it a go, it's easily swaped over.
