Default DEFI Boost sensor and extension wire/lead

posted here for a wider audience.

Following my STI being written off by a bus,

I have been able to salvage all guages etc but due to the bonnet not being able to open I couldnt get the boost sensor or the wire that feeds from the sensor thru to the control unit.

Therefore I am trying to find somewhere that can supply me with these so I can fit them in my new STI when it arrives.

I've looked on the Defi site and found this:

PDF00603S Boost Sensor 2.5m(8 1/5ft)
(Boost Sensor extension wire is unavailable.)

is this all I need. I'm a bit concerned that the (Boost Sensor extension wire is unavailable.) bit is something that I also Need?

Is anyone able to confirm that this extension bit is just an optional part that I require but cant get?

Can no-one open the bonnet, then? Not the repair centre it's at? That would be my first port of call.

Failing that, I'd be contacting Defi dealers, and asking for them to quote you for a bit, expalining why you need it. Try wherever they came from, first

I got the extension cables and oil pressure and temp sender form Envy Performance Ltd:

It took a couple of days to arrive.

They will be able to sort you out.
