Default Where's the legend

I cannot find a thread to show my mate. It was on a track and was posted by a member of SN. He went into a corner to quick then understeered, oversteered then understeered again into the wall . I don't think its the first time this SN member (legend) has had a little track mishap. Can anyone find the post or knows who the driver was.

seen it.... read the thread at the time. I hope time heals as "the legend" isn't necessarily the best label to attach to someone who smashed their car up on track.

Yeh just found it. It was username T5NYW. Well he's a legend in my eyes anyway. Just for the way he had ***** and just kept taking that corner faster and faster each lap.

Yeah I agree he was nailing it the 1st 3 times. I wouldnt have the bollocks to do that in my pride and joy!

There was a also good thread using this as an example explaining how the weight transfer and energy in the compressed springs acts with the subaru 4wd and chasis and why it's easy to over correct a slide (like this bloke did).

If he'd just let the car sort itself out with a slight correction he would have probably got away with it was the jist of the thread.

The Impreza is a funny old animal! I'm used to driving powerful RWD cars that keep you on your toes and tend to require lots of correction when going into oversteer; but with the scooby I have to kind of remove myself from the situtation and trust the car, I had a bit of a "wobble" a few weeks ago but I just held my breath and let the car sort its self out and all was good.. although my first instinct was to correct the steering but instead I let of the brakes and backed off the power and dipped the clutch and voila it regained grip & composure and I didnt stove the car in lol.. Looked pretty scary according to the guy in front lol!
