Think you need to be a little more specific! What exactly is it you want to know about?

WTTC
Plugs and coil packs may be a good place to start.
Worth using the 'Search' function as well, normally comes up with some answers.

Another Keyboard hero.
Regarding the original question, when do you get the miss-fire? Are sure it's a miss and not fuelcut? (feels like hitting a brick wall! ) If you're not sure when the car was last serviced, you can do a major one yourself for around £120.
That includes oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, gear/diff oil, coolant and spark plugs. Atleast then you can start from a fresh base.
Make sure you get NGK PFR7B plugs and gap them to 0.7mm.

Just in case you got the wrong end of the stick, i was aiming my first reply to the previous post !!!! Welcome hope you enjoy the site, still learning my self !! Most problems can be worked out on here. My advice as before is to get a full service done and then work from there, look for the obvious first !! Good luck.

When does the misfire happen (pootling along or giving it some stick)
If you are accelerating hard and suddenly your face nearly goes through the windscreen that's fuel cut (not a nice experiece imo).
Before going on a rolling road just check plugs, coilpacks and possibly give the boost solenoid (and associated pipework) a good clean with brake cleaner.

As Luke said, nice car there. Looks very clean. Think those alloys are 'volcanos' or something.
It could be fuel cut, you have a decat system. Where abouts are you and i'll try and point you to a local scooby specialist. (and the ones to avoid ) And, UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS DO YOU GET A MISS-FIRE? Sorry to shout, but we need the info if we are to help!

The miss fire only happens when you give it some stick, the car drives perfect apart from that.

Rich - If you want to learn about scoob's and gather more technical knowledge about your car and Impreza's in general you've come to the right forum.

There are plenty of people on here willing to give you advise and info on your car, were not all **** . .

At a guess I'd say it was a fueling issue. Where are you based ? As there are plenty of Impreza tuners all over the country now..

I had a fuel cut problem in my 93 wrx (didn't think about the decat causing a problem tbh) but i just stuck a z4 ecu in (better fuel map, higher boost pressure and higher fuel cut) and that sorted it.

Under what conditions do you get the missfire. What gear/throttle position/revs etc.
Does it miss and then carry on to the redline?
