Just collected the new car 07 WRX
Woohoo, to say im pleased with it is an understatement lol
Collected it from Peterborough this afternoon, ran it for a couple of hundred miles, and brought it home to wash it lol.
Its not very clean right now, so excuse the pictures.
But I have to say, the drive is completly different to the old 2.0 WRX I PX'ed, and im actually now quite glad to see the back of it
Annnyway, the standard exhaust is ok really I reckon, its got like a little SLR growl when you plant it, anyone else noticed that?
Got some good news today too, a friend of mine is doing some long term work for a Subaru dealer, so hopefully I will be getting PPP fitted too, if I can get a warrenty honour in writing.
So, onwards and upwards eh.
A few pics to share, incase someone has never seen an 07 Impreza WRX in Obsidian Black. lol

Cheers guys
Im delighted with it, a totally different car to the other one I have to say, and I dont just mean colour.
The seats are the wider ones which actually accomodate me a little better cos im far from petite.
The quality of the finish feels a little better too.
Power delivery really has changed, from reading up on threads here I thought it was similar.
Time to get it to the body shop at the weekend, get it paint perfect, and get some protection on it now.

Standard exhaust Noooooo, get a TSL deresenator section and a group N back box. Mine sounds lovely with that combination. Also at the 1000 mile service get the dealer to steam clean off that green wax from the engine bay as you've probably noticed it stinks when hot. Enjoy
Mine at 100 miles on the 1st March

Not into big noisy exhausts mate
Even if I lose power thru it lol.
Might go PPP later, but thats about it.
As for spending money on it. I resisted with the last, I will resist with this one, all apart from the planned changes
