Default Jason @ scoobybits

I ordered a second-hand airbox and pipe from them last week. Because I was out yesterday, he agreed last week not to send until yesterday, so that I would get today. Just phoned him to get a rough idea on delivery time and he said he sent it on monday. I then asked why when we had agreed last week that I wasn't going to be in yesterday to receive it. I live in a small block of apartments, where only the postman has access to the building. So TNT wouldn't have even been able to leave a note.
He then replied with, 'We don't need people like you, we're not all perfect, i'll get it collected and refund you the money'. He then hung up before I could get a word in! All was going to suggest is that he arrange a new delivery date with tnt. Refunding my money doesn't help as I still need a fecking airbox! And I have just wasted a morning when I had things to do.
I didn't swear or raise my voice, so I really don't understand his problem.

Please feel free jason to explain yourself. Considering I spent £70 on an airbox, I think I deserve a little customer service.

Now I know the old saying of, 'try and sort it with them before posting on the forum', well, I did, but he hung up.

If I was any calmer, i'd be asleep! That's my point, I was calm. How do you deal with someone who gets angry when you ask them nicely to correct THEIR mistake?

How could he have been calmer?

All it seems was asked was why the parcel was sent on a day when he had made it clear to the seller he wouldnt be there. They had arranged a day for delivery and he was asking why it wasnt sent as arranged?

Seems fair to me.

Precisely! Glad someone read the post properly.
I just rang them back and spoke to the mechanic. He said Jason was out, so I asked him apologise to jason on behalf if I had upset him and that I understand that we all make mistakes. All i'd like it the tracking number of the parcel to arrange another delivery date.
Wonder if he rings back.

I know we all have bad days, but we still have to do our job, regardless of how we are feeling.

Still hasn't got back to me.

I don't think this thread will be helpful if you're still trying to do business with this company, Chris.

Suggest you retract this thread and hold fire untill it's gotten to a stage whereby they a) resolve their error to your satisfaction or, b) refuse to help further and refund your money.

All the best getting it sorted.

Remember: plenty of other companies willing to take your money

As has been said, its buisness and there are no excusses. But were not robots and we do let other issues wind us up and other people get the fall out.
Human nature I think.
I hope you here from him soon, as I have had buisness with him in the past and he has been very good.

Point taken, original post corrected.
Jason made it perfectly clear when he said, 'I don't need to deal with people like you'.
I have run our family business for the past two years now. It wasn't my choice but the circumstances were out of my control. I know about bad days, but I still have to bite my lip for the sake of the business and accept responcibility for any c*ck ups. You can't just ignore it.
If I had been irrate and abusive, then I'd understand it. But I just asked him what he was going to do about it. I havn't got the tracking number for tnt, he has.

Chris, I've also amended my post to remove the reference to the offending item.

I agree with you btw, just keen to see you get a good result and not do something that might constitute a shot in the foot!

my tuppence, as ive dealt with jase a lot recently with my accident and all. im not going to take sides or defend one person. i know for a fact kris is supposed to be on holiday for two weeks, and jase at the moment has a huge workload, hes pretty stressed. has all this business with moving his gaff to a bigger premises as hes soo busy too.

at owrst maybe leave it until tomorow and have another go at ringing him. im suprised by what hes said on the phone, ive had numerous conversations with him, and hes never snapped at me. must have been a one off, at a very busy time for him.

best of luck anyway chris

Agreed. Have just contacted my local tnt depo. They have no item in their system waiting to be delivered to my address.
Maybe Jason has asked for it be returned? Who knows.
I will go to somebody else if I have to. But I have paid for something and I am just trying to locate it.

Right then keyboard hero;
Firstly you rang and asked if i had dealt with your order which I had.
Secondly I apologised for sending it early an oversight on my part the abuse I then received from you is not something I have to tollerate.
I said if no one was in they would "card" it as a missed delivery or reattempt at this stage you said in a most stroppy manner that they could not card it because you do not have a FECkin letterbox.
Well again let me apologise for not allowing myself to be spoke to be anyone like that.
If you think you paid to much it was the same price I quoted before we proccessed the order. An element of the cost is VAT and postage.
Feel free to be elsewhere that is your choice.
I also apologise that my crystal ball was out of order and that I did not know you had no letter box
I understand the goods were out for delivery .the offer of a credit in full stands.
Should this not be good enough I could exicute a member of staff or maybee enroll in some community service..
RANT OVER.
As i say you cannot please all the people all the time.
