Default heat wrap ned or not on headers

hi do i need heat wrap on my new chrome gruppe s header yes or no as they look good like they are cheers richie

wrap - they work better and keep the heat down under the bonnet = more power/torque which is what you bough them for I presume?

Yes, firstly it holds the heat in which is good for performance, secondly it stops them melting the bottom of your radiator as they get VERY hot. Plus they dont stay shiny for long anyway.

yes wrap em up .
as for the stuff to use, if you get that stuff off ebay it will work but cost you a arm and a leg.

sorry to steal the post but ow much wrap would be needed roughly for a downpipe on a classic and a manifold on a classic?
