Default Locking Wheel Nuts for Prodrive PFF7 18"

Hi all,

I have 2006 new shape (eagle eye) STI and have just changed the standard 17" STI wheels to 18" Prodrive PFF7's.

The nuts for the PFF7's are much longer (they fit nice and snug through the wheel) than the nuts for the standard STI's and so the locking nuts don't appear to fit as they aren't as long?!

Can anyone advise where I an buy the correct locking nuts?

Thx in advance.

P-FF7s are not supplied with different nuts, they are designed to use the original ones, including lockers.

Genuine PFF7s have steel inserts in the bolt holes as do the OE wheels. Most aftermarket alloys (don't know about replica PFF7 though) don't.

These are original Prodrives.

Yes you're right I am a newbie to both Scoobynet (and owning an Impreza, just 3 months). No offence taken.

The wheels were supplied with new nuts that are longer than the ones I removed for the standard 17" STI wheels. Know anyone who wants to buy some?

I think as long as there 60 degrees then I'm OK - I'm thinking of the Mc"thingy" high seurity ones?

Cheers and thx again.

Ron

Thats odd I fitted PFF7s to my 05 STI which has the same PCD as the 06 STI onwards and I used the original nuts.

Ronnie

If your car was fitted with locking wheel nuts like every UK spec car then these are also suitable for the P-FF7s.
