Help - bound brakes!
P1 has been sitting in the garage for a couple of weeks and seems to have bound back brakes - can't shift it and feel like I'm in danger of fecking up the clutch if I try too hard.
Anyone suggest a solution?
cheers

left my classic standing for a while and had same issue. Always depends on how bad things are, but for me the solution was as follows.
Reverse gear (needs to be reverse really), 3k rpm, try a reasonable launch, be ready on the brake.
Then first gear and repeat
Then reverse and repeat
Don't do anything so hard as to break it, just try a couple of shunts, especially in reverse. If that fails you are going to have to get your hands dirty.
Also, if this does free up the brakes, take it easy as your discs may be screwed. The pads may have transferred material onto the disc which can making braking performance lower, and cause unpleasant vibrations. You may need new discs.
