taking off left side vent cover???

Default taking off left side vent cover???

has any one taken the cap off the left side vent cover to get more air into induction kit....thinking off doing so will cover all electrics any thing i should no before i do so????worth doing or not or just get a cold air intake instead???cheers

If you do that mate you might want to get a snorkel for your induction kit. Not a good idea, you would be better off with a proper cold air feed.

Without forcing air onto the induction cone using a mini scoop or similar you run the risk of the vent acting as a chimney therefore, all the hot air from around the turbo and downpipe will be dragged straight past the airfilter
