Prodrive exhaust, s/steel or mild ?.
Just wanted to know what the centre section of the PPP system is made of as mine has gone rather rusty and not looking healthy at all .
I assumed for what you pay to have the conversion done that it would be stainless steel to match the backbox but apparently not !.
If it is s/steel it's a crap grade of steel !.
Also if I fit a replacement s/steel i.e Hayward & Scott or Scoobyworld, do you still fit all the heatshields that are on the current system or can you just leave them off .
Car is '03 wrx.
Cheer's.
Mark.

The long centre section is the original Subaru mild steel exhaust it is not replaced when the PPP is fitted. The other bits are replaced with stainless - catted downpipe, small cat replacement section and the backbox.Have been looking at getting a stainless centre section for my car to get a bit more burrble.

Cheer's for that, still does not make any sense though, why change all the other parts for stainless and not do the centre section ?.
Now all I have to do is decide what system to fit to replace it .
