Hi all,

I've just got in from attempting to get the tracking and wheel alignment done on my WRX: from the looks of the old tyres that came off it last week, it certainly needed looking at! However the mechanic couldn't do the alignment: on the rear right hand side, apparently there is a tracking adjuster that couldn't be adjusted far enough to re-align the right rear wheel. Anyone got any experience with this?

There's a bracket welded onto the subframe that the mechanic thinks could be worn. In the bracket is the bolt used to adjust the tracking -- which the mechanic is also not sure about (apparently he's never seen anything like this before).

Has anyone seen this before? Anyone know if Subaru supply the bracket separately (there are locaters, so it could be possible)? Or is it going to be a case of buying a new subframe? (Anyone know how much one of these goes for if this is the case?)
