Hi,

Which Type of Dyno do yous use?,Dyno Dynamics or Dastek

Will be buying one in the next fews months and was wondering which ones yous use.I know the Evos tend to use DD and i have heard from a few people that the scoobys use Dastek?Is that right?

Only ever had 1 run, that was at Dastek, only because they do most of the work on the car too. Good bunch

where are you?

At the end of the day they are only as good as the operators - Dastek has a good reputation within the scooby community.

tbh i think dyno dynamics have a better rep than dastek

and p.s. you do realise how much they cost?

The price between the two is that much.It will be in lanarkshire,Scotland

I know andy has a Dastek.

personally I think they are all open to manipulation, and bear little relation to what the cars actually do on the road and are only really any good for discussions over a pint .... but thats a whole different argument.

DD, Dastek, Maha - so long as you can recreate the tests and use them as a base for testing modifications then they have a use I suppose.

Out of interest, what makes up Pd - power to overcome drag - on a dyno printout? Is it purely transmission losses, or are other factors (like air resistance) included?
