Default Tuning a wrx for a dummy

What mods (and how much) would it take for a classic facelift wrx to achieve a real 300 bhp?

Also is it possible to get the suspension to the same level of an sti v6?

I dont have a lot of knowledge of the classic but im pretty sure the standard turbo wont reach 300hp.
You would need an uprated fuel pump, decat exhaust system, high flow filter and a remap. I think this will take you to about 280hp, someone will correct me if im wrong.
To get 300hp you would probably need all this and an aftermarket turbo and maybe injectors too.
All this could cost about 3 grand at a guess and will probably take you above 300hp but no doubt someone will be along with more accurate info for you.
Hope this helps,
Ian

What year is the car?
If its a 96-98 then get an apexi power fc ecu fitted and mapped. If its a 99-00 then you can remap the original ecu.
I'm sure the wrx saloon came with either the TD05 or VF28/29 turbo, meaning that 300bhp+ is very possible.
