cant get my bloody exhaust off
Feckin bolts are rusted on solid. Ive tried wd40 but no joy. Its the backbox that i want to swap, anyone got any ideas? Or should i just take it to a garage and let them charge me £20 for 15mins labour....aghhhh

I agree, get the people who have the kit to get it done right. That amount of time you will waste you could do some overtime and earn more than they will charge with all the faffing around.
This of course does assume that you are as clueless as I am when it comes to working on cars, and that you don't have any ramps, and don't have access to a blow torch

I did mine - plenty of WD40 and a big hammer!!
New gasket - as the old one always rips apart.
New bolts from a Subaru Main Dealer and smeared in Copperease so that swapping again would be simple
But I do have a 4-post lift

Moffett, if the nuts/bolts are rusted on that badly, then you will probably need to cut them off and start again with new ones and also possibly clamps aswell.

tried doing that myself but could not take the bolts off... the local tyre/exhaust centre flame torched the bolts and put new ones in together with a gasket...£20 all in
