Default Y does it cut out???

Ello everyone. Quick question- sometimes when i corner quite hard or go sideways at full throttle my car seems to cut out, almost like theres no petrol getting to the engine. this is quite annoying as i get jerked quite violently sometimes as it cuts out when accelerating! is this a fueling problem or something else? if so what do i need to stop this hapening? car is a '99' turbo 2000. any help appreciated. thanks

It's called fuel surge and its an absolute nightmare. Some users claim it doesn't exist but both my 99 UK turbo and my 99 STI 5 suffer from it. Those users that claim it doesn't exist have either got a swirl pot fitted that they don't know about or really don't corner that hard

The fix is a swirl pot or failing that don't play around with less than 1/3rd of a tank. Fuel Surge should only affect you when cornering hard to the right (roundabouts typically)
