Default Impreza Vs RS4

Hi Guys and Girls,

sorry if this is a repost, i havnt been on for a while, but its a vid sent to me of an Impreza racing an RS4 along a highway in Brazil (i think)

Many times in the vid the Impreza could have taken him but held off (prob cause of the camera angle) but its well scary at times!!

the vid says its a WRX but more like a tuned STi IMO.
Any way for thoes who havnt see it,
Enjoy

No way, the RS4 would eat him for breakfast.

Look at the way he slightly puts his foot down and dissapears in the distance.

Also I dont think they ever made a red Sti but it could be highly modified dont know.

The funniest part was when the other Audi took over the sub, he popped out of no where. Seemes like a normal A4 but was rapid, both audis just left the impreza for dust lol

I saw in a strate line the Audi was quicker, it was just in a couple of the corners where the Impreza got the drop on him and could have taken the lead even if it was for a second!!
But that RS4 is quick no doubt!! specially for a car the weighs 1800kg!!

Didnt they do a couple of special editions of the STi in red?

Anyway, brilliant vid!!

O very ncie video indeed.

Btw im certain they never did a red and also green sti.

One thing I noticed is that the RS4 was braking a lot but then again the number of cars on the road didnt help either

Now then.. I love my motor, its quick, fun, etc. But the Audi RS is summut else, they look ace too. See how the Audi pulls away like the Scoob is standing after that traffic? They have some serious grunt, and the new ones are even quicker.

The Audi is what I'll have when I decide its time to grow up..

the scoob for a good try..

Nowt wrong with Audis.
I reckon it's pretty obvious that the two drivers were just playing, and not "racing".. Not that it matters, but the Audi's obviously quicker - but after some of those manaouvers I wouldn't be following too closely either......

Superb video on some amazing looking roads!! Impreza could of had him coming out of some of the bends, you can hear him feathering the throttle when the Audi's on it's brakes

There was no way that the subaru would have seen off the audi . Anyone that thinks it would is either high on methadone, or is a long lost alter-ego relation of audilover; subarubummer_RTS. ( rose tinted spectacles)

And that's not forgetting the fact it's always easier to follow than lead. The subaru driver had an advantage over the audi in a way, he had eyes of what was happening in the road ahead the audi didn't.....he just used the audi's brake lights to guage his speed and lines. The audi driver didn't have that privelidge as he was busy making those lines and judging speed, all with another car up his chuff.

Rose tinted specs are must when you own a Scoob. They are faster than a Space Shuttle...

I think the only car that would even come within a gnat's whisker of passing that audi is a well detailed, zymol polished, logo embroidered seat, astra VXR. In blue.

Is that before or after the torque steer puts you in a hospital bed?

perfect chance to pass, right hand side of the pickup, but he missed the opportunity. I think it boils down to the driver, he wasn't as reckless as the audi.

After of course, Zymol man will be viewing the race from traction, dreaming up cunning lines in retrospect, and having knightmares of how to remove botsi flies from his front grill from his 30mph+ speed run

look at the scoobs scoop - the right side is gonna lift off.
And as far as it folds - there is no chance the scoob would have been faster than that fat black car.

Once rolling with momentum, and the speeds they were doing, it would make no difference, front or rear with the big bends they were on. The audi ( 450 BHP? ) hasn't got the power to light up the tyres at those speeds, so why would a 2WD car worry?

I liked the way a 2.0 TDi nips in for a play 3/4's of the way through

I reckon my red STI could scare him a little, have read the RS4 hits 125mph in 16.6, mine hits about 120mph in 16.5

Think his extra bhp may tell over 130 though, till he hits his 155mph limiter, then i could creep past him at an extra 5mph LOL

But you wont find me driving like that on public roads, seems like they have some sort of deathwish!! It looked like a real life ridge racer If only my ***** were big enough
