I'm gonna change my wheels shortly (Gold 17" ST2)

I want to see a Dark Blue Mica with P1 Anthracite wheels on it - anyone done this?

I was going to try that or the Gold P1 wheels.

Cheers,
DV

I've got a DBM wagon with P1 Anthracite's...very nice...but I would say that

But I've just put my winter wheels on...and no photo's available (car's new).

But just do it!

just do it, just do it, just do it.

Someone give me a set of 'Titanium OZs' from their P1 and I'll do it. Otherwise, I'll have to do some photoshop wizardry to superimpose a photo of say 'KurtW the ManSteak' car onto my humble MY00 Turbo.

On an entirely different note, I'm taking my SS exhaust off next week at my dealer, who's just got the new Turbo in - will drive it and his P1 too! My plan is distract them, and whip the P1 wheels off, and stick 'em onto mine. to see what they look like.

Cool

What's this?

A wheel colour thread without pslewis.

Keep the Gold wheels, its what Pete would want you to do.

To hell with it, I'll put a set of Fiesta 950 Pop wheel covers on and be done with it.

I'd prefer Austin Allegro covers but beggars cant be...

Have only seen one DBM with P1 wheels on, and I thought it looked crap. Made the wheels seem like 15". Might look better with more spokes, but the anthrcite 10 spokers always look small. I have Gold OZs and when parked next to a P1, my wheels looked at least and inch bigger.

Didn't look that close - they were P1 wheels, whatever centre cap and lettering they have?

Well - here goes - all you fans are awaiting my responce with baited breath!!!

I HAVE got a DBM wagon and have got anthracite wheels on - well thats what 2 ton of brake dust makes them look like ... do NOT get Gold (very very Vera Duckworth!!)

The cheapest option is to let the brake dust settle on the silver wheels and then spray them with a liberal coating of laquer - looks like **** but a damn sight better than gold!!!!

Hey DazV

The car looks FANTASTIC with the anthracite wheels against the mica blue, when gleaming clean. Plus when dirty, it still looks great whereas the gold just look plain old tatty when covered in dirt.

They give the car a more sophisticated look.

so get them

PaulW,

Judging by that link, whoever said the P1 wheels look small on a DBM car were right - they look tiny - are they 16" ?

Two things which make think they'd be better on mine:
1. Lowered ProDrive Suspension on my car - less wheel arch gap
2. The link you sent is badly lit for a DBM car - it looks like sonic blue nearly!
