You've lost me, I've a genuine STi 8 scoop and all it consist of is the scoop and undertray, albeit mines a Zerosports one that uses the rubber seal from the OE undertray.

Any STi 8 scoop on a classic is going to be a replica anyway.

Like the part you get in the eclassic scoop

but i have seen aboutt 4 classics with STI8 scoops with a similair setup, never have managed to stop and ask them.

as when at high speed the damn thing vibrates/wob bles as theres nothing inside it to maintain its rigidness so to speak

Later spec classics don't have them either, just supporting struts at the front.
Occasionally on classics people, including myself have fitting air splitters to direct air to the front of the IC, these are standard on newage STi 7 cars onwards.

A splitter like this ?

That particular one is an aftermarket ZeroSports one, probably like the one richiewong mentioned.

You cannot buy the supports on their own.
In the original classic scoop they were part of the moulding and on GOOD QUALITY aftermarket scoops they are also built in, If the STi8 style scoop you bought does not have them it is/was because whoever made the scoop found it too difficult or much easier to make the scoop without them.
End result a very high scoop that wobbles about and has no strength.
