Default Clutch knocking question

Hi all,

quick question; I recently bought my 97 turbo 2000 and i've noticed a 'knocking' feeling on the clutch when the car is stood still and the clutch is near the biting point, sometimes it does it fully down too - any idea what this is?

Thanks
