Do these bad boys have a fuel level low warning light

Only had the car a week now and the fuel was very low today but no sign of a low level warning light and was wondering if they had one?

Cheers

Had my 05sti for a month now and the light came on the other day for the first time, the needle was right down mind you.

On my Blob WRX the light comes on when there is 10 litres left (I am assuming 60litre tank and it takes 50 to fill up from here) but it does look like the needle is on the bottom line. Rarely let it get that low mind, but at least I know I should get 40miles once the light is on to get to a v-power shop.

Just wanted to know for future reference folks, was really panicking this morning that I would run out but if the light wasnt even on then I was obviously worrying about nothing.

Thanks for the replies

Thumbs down

you should never let your car run that low on petrol, you stand a big chance of a fuel surge!!!not good.
your car may become hesitant at certian revs!!!!

hehe I did exactly the same the week I picked my STI up. Even posted on here asking about the light. It is out there I find mine runs off below Empty and then thinks about coming on.

FFS! Let your diesel Astra run low but never your Scoob! It's a performance vehicle FFS. I always fill up on my way to Church as every good Christian would do ...
