Is there a difference in speed between the two, I cant find anything on parkers.co.uk they dont go far enough back.

Well given that the UK Turbo 2000 was 208, eventually rising to 218 bhp, and WRX's were 245 rising to 265bhp, iirc, and they weigh about the same, I'd say the WRX would win, on acceleration and top speed.

My UK car hasn't been 218 bhp for some time though........

Thanks all, will look for some numbers on how different they are

Gutted really as there are loads of turbo 2000's un-modded (which is what I want) but very very few unmodded WRX's (which I would love to have)
