NUR SPEC R video clip now added!
Here's a few of clip's of my01 wrx with a blitz nur spec r.It didnt seem overly loud untill i decatted with a 3" bell mouth downpipe.What do you think?

doesn't sound that loud too me. It is hard to tell, I set my speakers to what I thought sounded right compared to the other car in the first clip.
I think it sounds good, I have heard far far louder.

all the clips are of the same car
it does sound louder in the flesh,i only did the clips on my camera so there not the best quality.

the best sounding exhaust imo
i have one on mine which was fitted to my sti4 and sounded very nice!have since fitted to my new scooby sti6 ra and was alot louder which i put down to 3"down pipe instead of 3" to 2.5" but still ok i could live with it!have since just fitted tubular headers and now its bloody stupidly loud!i feel shame full driving through estates
god dose it howl tho when you get it on a nice piece road

Check out my nur spec on my 97 turbo classic and a very loud afterburner vortex on my mates 99 turbo classic....both are cat back systems.

First time i've heard one. Wasn't as loud as i expected. Not much difference to one i've got. Probably louder in the flesh?
Nice sound on startup.
Here's a couple i took the other week. H&S 3" d/p & Meercat 3" decat, dragger-style with burnt tip.

stupid question i know...but my exhaust is 3"straight thru,downpipe all the way to hopefully a ninja backbox next week,
will mine do the same?(spit Flames and pop)or do i need to get a remap?or a spark plug fitted?!?!

Mine was mapped that way. (Soon to be removed
) You could buy a flamer kit, but that's more a stationery/show thing.
There are other ways to make it pop; ALS, VTA.
Mine did pop/bang quite a bit with full afterburner decat & ninja BB. You know the Ninja is only 2.5" though. So somewhere it will taper down.

gazthehat:-yes i know its half an inch in diameter smaller than the main body of the system,but i am going to have to get either the flange changed or cut the pipe of the backbox off and get it re-welded on with the 3"pipe!!
as in leave as much length on my backbox pipe work as possible and then weld on the ninja BB...
PS i know some very good metal fabricators!!...so it should be a doddle
