happy st george's day to all. hopefully we are allowed to celebrate today even if they try to ban everything to do with England!!!!
not impressed with google.co.uk they celebrated st paddys day and al we get is normal google sign ;-(
ohwell enjoy today anyway!!!

I know I am in Wales but it seems that Wales, Scotland and Ireland can celebrate their saint's days but England can't without being branded nationalists or racists which is frankly b*ll*cks.

Im off to the pub shortly for steak and kidney pie 'n mash and spotted dick and custard, all with some nice stout ale, sod the scots etc Im English and it's our saints day huzaah George

Happy St George's day from me too.
I'm sick to the back teeth with the atitude of this country.It hardly gets a mention anywhere whereas the whole of England,yes England comes to a standstill when it's Paddy's day.
That's how it should be,we should celebrate the occasion.When will people realsie it's not racist but patriotic ?

hmm for the record we dont officially celebrate StAndrews day in scotland, i guarantee 95% of us myself included dont even know which day its actually on and even on the day its no diffrent from any other, the only St to be properly celebrated seems to be St Patric and thats huge even across in the USA, dont know how far the welsh take it TBH
