Default V-power/Tesco 99/BP Ultimate Prices Website..

Just an idea if it hasn't already been done - a website that lists the prices of premium fuels near you so you know which is the cheapest?

Random thought prehaps - but I've noticed that the price of V-power around where I'm based (Bedfordshire) varies quite a lot, and would be handy if I could see which would be the cheapest to fill up at without having to drive around them all. You could have a postcode/distance search - and registered users could update the prices for the benefit of all.

Just an idea like.

it is a good idea - there is a site that does this already called petrolprices.com but their information is usually a couple of days out of date and their signup process isn't very good, I mean why do they want my name and address (on an unsecure site) just to tell me the price of fuel near me? that's NOT info I'm going to hand out ***** nilly.

Just don't put real info in the reg process! That goes for most websites.

Does that petrol prices site just deal with regular unleaded and diesel?

Makes its use pretty limited to most of us

No - I have it set to super unleaded. You are also able to update prices to let others know, so the more people use it, the more up to date tht einfo can be. Quite useful for some areas of the country no doubt, but in Reading I know Shell on Shinfield Road is always the cheapest

Free UK fuel prices. 9,762 petrol stations covered - PetrolPrices.com already does this

I use it without a problem, give a false address, does it matter as long as you give an email address to get the info.

Can you make it show particular garages? I've set it for super-unleaded - but unsurprisingly Sainsburys and Tesco are the cheapest - when I need the cheapest v-power

Just checked near to where I am. One of the closest places has unleaded for 91.9 and super unleaded for 92.9. How can that be?
