What mags do you read / buy?
#1
About 2-3 years ago I used to enjoy reading Max Power, Fast Car etc because they actually had decent articles about tuning and modifying ... sort of like Cars & Car Conversions but a bit more achievable by ordinary folk. Then they went all t&a and seem to have forgotten about the cars ....
Now I just read C&CC (in the local WH Smiths). And a subscription to Classic & M/cycle Mechanics. What about you lot?

EVO - and Autocar if there's anything in there on Scoobs.
Subscribed to CAR for 20 odd years, but not renewed this year. No depth any more and aimed at 15 year olds.
Anybody know how many copies of these are sold per month?
Looked at CCC last week, but was a shadow of its former self.
Only place I found BANZAI was in Smiths in Bluewater. All the smaller branches don't seem to have it.

Coffee is sold like in America, free refils!!. They just dont care as long as you dont rip out pages etc. When my girlfriend goes shopping she leaves me there!!1 great selection of foriegn magazines,Jap USA etc
But EVO is the best.

Banzai, Evo, Auto Italia, Japanese Performance , Autocar, Evo, Car, Cars and Car Conversions, plus loads of fishing titles.
Maybe someone could combine the two.
Carp and Cars Conversions anyone ?

Banzai, Evo, Car, occasionaly Top Gear, and if I'm in a laughable mood, max power, redline, or revs, though usually only if scoobs are in it, gotta see what someone has done to them.

FHM & Maxim. Don't really buy car magazines. What's the point when you have got the best value for money super car already

The funny thing is I do actually buy the mags that Bin Laden mentions when at work. We use themto cold call the adverts in the back (or I did when I was on sales - new dept now).
In real life I buy Evo, .net, Create, Computer Arts, PSM2, Edge, Banzai, Jap Perf, and other internet related stuff.
Dont bother much with Loaded, FHM etc these days - why look at static **** when it moves on the web
