Legacy GTB servicing +....
#1
I've done actually managed to get a descent second hand (my 99)one at last (manual as well) - they are the dogs b*****ks. What a differnce to the old Legacy.
I however I would like a bit of a hand. The manual is in Japanese (obviously) but the previous owner servied it everly 7500 miles with a cam belt change at 36k is this correct? This is the same as my old Legacy Turbo, I would have thought they moved on a bit.
Also, as a Jap import, where can a get a spare key remote - only one was supplied with the car, plus other spare parts when i need them.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Can't help you with the parts bit m8, but the oil needs attention more often than service intervals (no you did not mention it, but thought I should bring it up ).
I change mine after 3000 miles (max) because I find the oil has had quite a hard life (could have something to do with a twitch I have in my right foot though!! Oh, and the track days ). Anyway, the primary works a lot hauling that heavy body around, and the oil is the ham in the sandwich - so as you get used to it, you may want to check on the oil quite regularly to find your "comfort zone" on that (oh, and try to stay away from 15w grades as it can play havoc with things).
