Default Steam Clean ?

Does anyone know if you can steam clean a classic engine ? I have a slight oil leak and a garage has told me to steam clean the engine before bringing it in for a look so as they can see where the leak is comming from, is this a good idea ?

You can steam clean any engine. Just have to be careful around the electronics and intake areas.
There is a bloke in the Cardrome in Elm Park that does proper steam cleans. You can have it done on a ramp and have the underside done, or just from the top if you want.
