Milages on the newage cars
I used to use my sti alot mainly for commute to work.Ive only done about 300 miles in the last 6 months since career change.The cars october 04 its now done 16000 miles,what sort of milages have other peoples got on them.JAY

2005.
It's my own Scoob, use it for work, went in for it's 40,00 mile service today @ Foresters Subaru in Bilston ( mileage reading 39,871).
Just can't stop driving it>>>>

03 WRX, I bought it from new, I bloody love it, its my only car and so goes everywhere, and does loads of miles inbetween with me in it just enjoying it.
61,000 miles already. But you know what? I dont give a f**k. Its well looked after mechanically by RCMS and others, and will last years yet.

03 STi 50,500 miles, did 2500 in 3 weeks from picking it up.
My old classic MY00 did 45,000 miles in 1 year at over 300BHP. Currently getting rebuilt at 96,000 miles now my toy.
My wifes MY00 forester did 156,000 in 5 years. Sold and still going strong
The cars do more mileage than my Van. Sprinter 30,000 miles in 4 years.
I think I use the wrong vehicle for work.
It still gives me the grin factor everytime I use it though.

300 miles in 6 months = 1.6 miles per day. You havent been driving it just to get the mileage down haven't you? How sad
It depreciates like a stone in a bucket of water as it is, an extra couple of miles will hardly hurt.

Just had a change of career,bought a transit use that for work and dont get time to drive it much anymore.JAY
