Yesterday, two new members registered. "becci", who said hi at 1656, and has so far received 16 replies, and "Ian in Dublin" who registered at 1956 and has received TWO!

Can see your point mate, but in my defense on the above yer honour:
Beci joined saying she had loads of questions but would'nt bore us with them -to which I thought, in the spirit of the forum, I would encourage her to 'ask away' and benefit from everyones knowledge
Ian joined with question about specific models from a specific era, about which I had limited knowledge. So I didn't waste his time with a pointless reply.
Nothing to do with testosterone or sexism.

I opened this thread thinking you were going to complain about the sexism on this site.....you know all the threads about how women are crap drivers, can't park, should be chained to the kitchen sink, don't put their lights on in heavy fog

i think any female wandering in here must be able to hold her own. Obviously its going to be a male dominated site but not all are like that, some are really helpful. Its only like wandering into a bar as a lone female... if you cant take the grief dont enter... oh and for gods sake dont wander into muppets unless you are really thick skinned <waves to the lads caged in there>
There are plenty of women out there into cars.. like myself... who's other halfs are not or into something else (bikes- in my case), who want to talk cars and not use it as a dating site.
There are plenty of other car sites out there... japgirls for one...
