I have just called and told they will ship tomorrow (18/12/01)
and I will get Wednesday.

I have my doubts, the answer was very quick from them All most
to quick the call lasted less than 40 secs

keeping the faith (well at least until Wednesday night)

I thought that they said they wouldn't take any payments until they shipped it out, I'll have to check the statement now to find out if I've been charged yet.

Seriously though, bad form to charge for the goods well before they ship. If you get a bill from the CC Company with it on, I'd contest the charge until you recieve the kit.

Not surprised. That's why they offered the discount -- I should imagine they're using the advance orders payments to fund the manufacturing costs.
