Default Adjustable rear sway bar

I have the whiteline rear sway bar thats adjustable, im on the softest setting at the moment, am i right in thinking the softer the setting the more it will understeer, on my old 944 Turbo i had the rear shocks hard and the fronts soft and it turned in a treat!
Applying the same logic if i stiffen up the rear then it should reduce understeer shouldnt it?
I know the scoob is 4wd and the old 944 was rwd thats why im unsure !

Correct. You can also stiffen in stages by adjusting 1 side at a time so if you have 3 holes either side you have up to 5 settings to try
