HI, l own a 04 sti ppp and will not give in to the government and sell my pride and joy, but is it true l will not be affected, or is it quess work, or has an official report been given, can any one put some light on this, thanks

the 04 STi will be fine... think you will find its increased by £5-£10.

Only cars registered after 23rd March 2006 have the £300 rising to £400 tax banding. (Band G)

Same, you will be a Band F rather than the higher Band G (probably find your tax is £205 now vs. £190 before.. give or take £5). Thats the flaw in this system, most of the cars they are trying to penalise were registered before the date.

Yes as band G only came in to effect in March 2006 so your car was made before it existed.
