Depends when it was registered..
The cost of vehicle tax for cars, motorcycles, light goods vehicles and trade licences : Directgov - Motoring
Short answer - If your scoob was registered after March 23rd 2006, then yes. if not, then no.

This topic is endanger of becoming the new SIAL. Just think of the extra tax as a privilege for owning such a prestigious and fast car
Ultimately it will put the underclasses off buying them when they get cheaper, so all good

But people who spunge off the state and get £30k in benefits for having a room full of kids will still be able to afford to run the WRX STi
That's our Gordon, take from the middle class and give to the iliterate spungers

The tax is on CO2 emissions - nothing to do with 4 wheel drive or not!
In reality the way Scoobs are driven - they should probably pay twice the so-called 'gas guzzler' rate - so consider yourself let off lightly

TBH,it would not matter to me if the tax did go up to £400 a year on my STI,as if it is taken as a whole,it is a £200 increase, which is an extra £16 per month, which lets be honest(and i know it's still ****)it's not going to break the bank is it.....................at least not when i look at my fuel consumption .
