Default WRX Type R

My mate has seen a Type R WRX on the way to work the other morning. Has anyone got any pics of this? It is not a Type R Sti, it was definitely a WRX. It also had a FIA sticker if this helps. Thanks!

As far as i am aware they are all WRX's as they are imports, even though the engines are sti's.

Thanks Danny.

Apparently the WRX is written standard, rather than the colourful WRX Sti and the rear spoiler is very small like the pre MY98.

That would be the standard spoilers i think, but most people change then to the Big Noticable spoilers later.

Nah, different versions have different spoilers, version5 and 6 spoilers are the hefty ones and suit the car to a tee, i think the version 4 ones are a bit more subtle.

All the type R's came as imports and were WRX STI TYPE R'S and all only had 2 doors.their are also the uk spec P1 with 2 doors and the legendry 22B also with 2 doors either of these as i know were not badged WRX STI. Apart from the imported 22B witch i think was badged as a STI.
