Probably a bit of dust in there somewhere. Take it out, warm the brakes up and do a few real hard brakes. It may clear it for you.

It can also be caused by vibration. Where the pads disks etc are not quite as snug as they should be. Not a problem but very anoying when you have a car that does this. Or as GP could be crap somewhere in there

Try a bit of copper grease on the back of the pads.

Mintex do an anti squeel pad its like thick stick on tape you put on the back off the brake pad.As a temp fix you can use masking tape on the back of the pad and also on each side of any squeel plates their might be.My 03 sti has two plates for each pad it worked well for me untill a friend got me the propper ones from Mintex.Give it a try if your stuck.Only know this as i have just watched my boy friend do mine last week.
