Without my baby for 3 days

I just took in my car to my dealers to have the bodywork repaired.
£300 approx to have the work done - that's taken a chunk out of the "New Alloys Fund".
Can't make the Halfway House this Thursday - would have been my 1st Scooby meet
Apologies for the depression, but I'm just gutted all round.

it'll be alright dude, I had a bit of a, erm, 'problem' with my old WRX. I managed to break a lower wishbone on new years eve and travelled to Leeds through blizzards in order to get another one. moral of the story, it'll be fine

Early this year I was without mine for 5 weeks, gearbox decided to stop being a gearbox, had the use of an Astra Diesel Van, it had a Turbo, which must have been made by Matchbox, or was it the size of a match box. But when it comes back, it's like getting in for the first time

It's strange, my Scooby sits on the drive for up to a week without worrying me (I get the train to work) but as soon as it goes into the garage for a day or so I get the urge to take it for a spin! Oh well!!! At least it gives you something to look forward to!

Thanks everyone for the supportive replies - I think i'm just over-reacting a bit - I'm driving a loan car which is a basic Citreon Saxo, which my dealer arranged for me (luckily it was the last loan car free before Christmas), so if anything I will definately appreciate my Scooby more so.
