Made my day!

Anti lag like that is now banned on hillclimbs due to the noise levels but what fabulous driving!
Thanks for putting it up

Anti lag sounds awesome no doubt however it will kill off the turbo why bother then?

This explains what it is:

Anti-Lag System - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Most Scoob garages should be able to sort out the mods & line up a spare turbo for you

Not as good on my lappy at work but sounds amazing on my pc at home. Done a quick search for the Autronics ECU, not sure on price.

I quike fancy AL. Someone posted on SN saying they had been running AL for over 2 years with no issues.

T5OLF.

Sidetracking for a minute - I like the look of your car & the serious mods. How do you get a decat through the MOT?

Thumbs up

That video is cool, bit crazy driving but sounds mental and always on boost by the sounds of it.

Is it only me or does anyone else think the wheels were sticking out from the body work a bit, like the wrong offset? Or is that how the rally boys do things?

Thanks I think the car is a 92 model so the emisions are quite easy to pass. It took him a while to get it but it passed in the end.

Edited to say thats a v nice STi you have there. Same as my desk top at work.

Cool video.

A good thread on ALS with people who have ran/run ALS on their cars.

AL does sound awesome that vid doesnt do it justice get yourself to a rally and listen the the pops and bangs in person

fu<king awesomly loud!!! sounds like a gunshot

can always tell who hasnt been to a rally before because they always either jump out of their shoes or duck as though it was some sort of air strike when the als kicks in.

for maximum effect watch one in a forest the echo is quailty

choose a rally here :British Rally Calendar of Events

get to as many a I can

Last one I went to was the RAC at Chatsworth house I think, the 6R4 had just arrived on the scene....god time flys.

The night rallys in the 80's were always good to watch around my parts.

Not necessarily true. I have Launch control, albeit predefined (5000 RPM) on the ECUTek.

Do you definitely need an (aftermarket) ECU for ALS then?

Is there no way you can get it on ECUTek?

And one more thing, how long would a TD05/18g last then, with it switchable?
