hey all, i currently have a my03 wrx saloon in blue with a prodrive spoiler on and was thinking of changing to a v8 sti one ,
opinions welcome.

i have to say im not a fan of the prodrive one sti 8 is better

 

Sti one. The prodrive spoiler is known as the droopy eared one, it's a bit naff imo.

 

the bigger the better! has to be the sti 8!

 

i take it no one likes the prodrivw one?
would they use the same holes on the boot?

 

I changed my sti spoiler for the prodrive one

 

have you sold the sti one? and do they use the same holes?

 

What about the new Prodrive version instead

i wasn't sure about it either and was going for an sti one until i seen the one above in the flesh on the dealers car and knew it had to be that one from then on!

 

Not a fan of the new prodrive at all. Looks like it may fall off at speed!

 

why not get a CF one?

Stick with the Prodrive one, more subtle than the Sti.

no spoiler is uber cool.

 

looking at maybe getting the sti one as have just had to put the sti front bumper on, (bloody nurburgring ), only one i could find when i got back from germany and now i dont think the front ties in with the prodrive one.

 

Saw a new prodrive spoiler fitted for first time today trundling through Lancaster, exactly same colour as the pic up there and I must say it looked really smart. Best spoiler design to date IMO.

 

That new prodrive spoiler is an absolute slag,

Without a doubt if you can source one, one of those. If not, STi 8, theres a reason why everyone has them, and thats because they look the best!

If money wasn't too much of an issue I'd have one of these:

(Impreza S203 style rear wing)

Only downside is the mounting holes are different to both WRX & STI..!

Definately looks the best IMHO, something different..

 

Every1 has the big spoiler on, stick with the prodrive one or like has been said, carbon boot, no spoiler. Or normal boot, no spoiler! Saw lots of them without spoilers in Oz, well smart!

 

I much prefer the one you already have to that new Prodrive one one up there /\ those lines just don't go with the curves of the car in my opinion. Any more pics of your car with the whole spoiler showing?
