Default Anyone got mudflaps?

Just after which ones really, and any comments you've got.

I can't decide wether to go for the scoobyworld ones, or the performance creations ones.

Does anyone which are stiffer?

Thanks in advance

I,ve got the Scott Lowe ones on mine and they are quality. Cost £150 but the reason I went for these over the Performance creations ones, was because I have a WR Blue car and the PC ones are a poor colour match, the Scott Lowe ones are a perfect match.
Each to their own.

I've just ordered performance creation ones, but ateotd black is black, and that's the colour I wanted for my DBM car.

Try this....

eBay.co.uk: Subaru Impreza WRX & STi Mud Flaps Mudflaps NEW AGE On (item 160093169952 end time 17-Mar-07 13:49:10 GMT)

These are the ones I got because I prefer the way they are cut.

Or these.....

BTW, the more expensive ones come with plastic brackets and not stainless as advertised, it's in the small print that comes after you B-I-N iirc. I'm sure it was mentioned when he did a GB a while back

Cheers Jon!

It says easy fitting, does that mean it's easy for a complete pleb like myself?

The more expensive ones come pre-drilled so I expect they would be easier. I prefered the way the £40 ones where cut so expect I'll need to line them up to where I want them to sit and drill the holes, but nothing more than an hours work, and most of that will be measuring so that they sit the same height L&R and F&R

Which ones would you recommend with plastic fixings and quite "subtle". I don't want to catch them under the rear wheels when going backwards up things (I marshall so often going over rough ground), and just want to catch the worst of the crud from goig up the side of the car?

Anyone know what the wr blue colour comparison is like, between the car and mudflap? (scoobyworld or performance creations)?
Thanks

I bought some of these. Look good. No drilling required. You can leave the wheels on to fit. No problems.

Thanks for the comments, I think I'll be going for the pc flaps as they seem to be quite highly rated and the colour match is pretty good from the pics I've seen.

Once fitted I'll do my best to post some pics up.

Talking mudflaps, anyone know if they fit on a new age wagon? Been looking at Subaru accessories brochure for latest impreza's and it appears to state that their mudflaps don't fit wagon.
Anyone know for sure?

you get what you pay for with the performance creations one's to be honest.

mine looked fine to start with but they are not rigid at all and have become a bit bent out of shape.

if you're just after protection at a very reasonable price you can't go wrong, if you want something to look good for years to come go for Prodrive ones

I got Scott Lowe on mine and are well worth the money.

Bought some PC ones for a mate, black and last of the metal brackets, Scott Lowe ones were better quality IMO.

If you're only in Sheffield why don't you have a ride up to Barnsley and pick them up yourself? Good excuse for a short blast up the M1
